Hi! I’m Katelyn.

I’m an early career archivist passionate about expanding equitable access to archiving; resisting legacies of racism and policing in research spaces; and describing marginalized archival subjects with respect and care. I graduated from New York University with an MA in Archives and Public History in 2025, and completed my BA in History and Anthropology at Rice University in 2022. I’ve previously worked with NYU, Barnard College, the Morgan Library & Museum, and the Lake Jackson Historical Association to identify silences in the archive and highlight collections related to the study of historically oppressed communities.
